Captain Kane asks his Sunrisers to stay alert and alive ahead

Mumbai: Sunrisers Hyderabad thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by nine wickets with 12 overs to spare in the 36th match of IPL 2022. Hyderabad, bowling first, bundled Bangalore for 68 with the help of three wickets from Marco Jansson and T Natarajan and then chased down the target in eight overs.

Even after this spectacular victory of Hyderabad, captain Kane Williamson has warned his team. He has said that the team will have to be prepared in the same way for the challenges ahead.

Williamson said after the match, ‘It was one of some wonderful days for us. The ball was swinging in the air and our fast bowlers took full advantage of the swing by bowling beautifully. It is wonderful that we have four or four different types of high-class fast bowlers. It was a great performance from the entire team. We will stick to our plans and do better in the next challenge.

Hyderabad achieved a one-sided victory after scoring 72 for one in eight overs with 72 balls to spare. This is the fourth biggest win in terms of balls for any team in the IPL. Hyderabad has moved up to the second position after winning five consecutive matches out of seven, while RCB has 10 points like Hyderabad, but it is 10 points in eight matches and is now fourth in the points table.

Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 47 runs in 28 balls with the help of eight fours and a six. Captain Kane Williamson remained unbeaten on 16 and Rahul Tripathi scored seven runs.
