Lucknow: Post the pandemic, academic institutions are now largely focusing on skill based proficiency enhancement which makes students ready to make a mark on the job from Day1. This comes at a time when the job market demands people of diverse skillsets but with proven credentials.
Since its inception in 2004, Amity University Lucknow campus has lived the We Nurture Talent catchline very seriously imparting holistic education to students on diverse disciplines. In an attempt to take the U.P story to a broader audience, Amity University Lucknow campus has planned an online photography contest titled Colours of Uttar Pradesh which will be judged by senior photojournalist Manoj Chhabra.
The competition will test the ability of the young shutterbug to hardsell the U.P story through one classy shot. Catching them young, the competition is open to school & college goers of the state.
The contest will be divided in two rounds , where ten participants will be selected for the final round. The submissions are open till April 5, 2021. Winners will get good cash prizes and a chance to grab eye balls and an E-certificate.
The Photojournalism department of Amity University, Lucknow Campus which comes under Amity School of Communication is held in very high stead for its pathbreaking work that it has done with respected names in the social sector like Save the Children and UNICEF. It has also collaborated for various types of documentation including photos with John Hopkins University, the Maha Kumbh 2019 at Prayagraj and the National TB Control Campaign.
