Lucknow: Dr. Pratibha Bansal and Dr. Seema Mishra of Department of Chemistry Lucknow University have received a research grant from Council of Science and Technology (CST), UP, Lucknow of worth 15.36 lakhs.
Title of the project is Fabrication and use of metal nanoparticles doped with activated carbon for industrial waste water purification. In this project, they will be working on fabrication of novel metal nanoparticles doped with activated carbon for water purification.
Fabricated nanoparticles and sunlight will be used for purification of waste water samples taken from different industries in Uttar Pradesh. This will help industries to treat industrial wastewater before discharging it into different water bodies.
Recently Dr. Pratibha Bansal and Dr. Seema Mishra also got the research grant from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under the scheme State University Research Excellence (SURE) of worth 30 lakhs.
