Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra does video conferencing to prevent H3N2 virus from spreading
Gorakhpur: In view of the increase in patients of influenza H3N2 with flu-like symptoms in many states of the country as well as in some districts of the state, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra through video conferencing from Lucknow informed the top officials of the district about their respective responsibilities.
He has given strict instructions to be cautious while discharging duties to prevent H3,N2 virus. Influenza AH3N2 infection can happen to a person of any age and being contagious it can spread from person to person.
Children in the age group of 1 to 5 years, citizens above 65 years of age, pregnant mothers, diabetes and blood pressure patients can be more affected by this disease. Its symptoms include fever, sore throat, cough, cold, body ache, headache.
Influenza AH 3 N 2 Prevention: Covering the mouth during sneezing and coughing, frequently washing hands with soap and clean water, taking nutritious food, consuming more lemon, amla, mosambi, green vegetables, not smoking, drinking plenty of water. The key is to stay isolated and get enough sleep.
To prevent infection, avoid shaking hands, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, avoid reusing tissue paper, do not spit in public places, do not take medicines without doctor’s advice and do not go to crowded places. has been advised.
