Kanpur: In Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, Chowki Incharge will now be posted at the post for at least one year. It will not be so easy to remove them from the post. The establishment board will now appoint outpost in-charges. Not only this, the concrete reason behind the removal of the outpost in-charge will have to be given, only after that he can be removed. The Police Commissioner has issued a letter to all the officers regarding this. Soon this new system will be implemented.
According to the information received, the establishment board prepared for the appointment of outpost in-charges will be different for the four zones. The Establishment Board will comprise the concerned DCP as Chairman, the concerned ADCP and the senior most ACP as members.
The Police Commissioner said that for the appointment of outpost in-charge, it would be necessary that the concerned SI should have completed at least one year of service. The maximum age for the appointment of Chowki Incharge has been fixed at 58 years. SIs older than this will not be considered for the post.
The certificate regarding the integrity of the inspector should not have been withheld in the last three years. Penalties of serious nature or adverse entry should not have been done in 1 year. The Police Commissioner said that it would be possible to appoint the outpost in-charge only from the approved list. The approved list will be prepared in the first week of every month under the chairmanship of DCP with new facts.
