Lucknow / Gorakhpur : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the foundation day of GIDA. This program will be organized in the evening. In this, CM will give a gift of crores of rupees to GIDA. In which he will lay the foundation stone of investment projects worth Rs 504 crore and along with this he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 49 development projects like plastic park, flatted factory costing about Rs 260 crore. In this program, the certificate of allotment of land will also be given to the investors of investment projects worth Rs 1200 crore. With these projects, the industrial corridors of GIDA will get wings of development.
Today is the foundation day of GIDA. It was established on 30 November 1989. It was largely neglected before Yogi Adityanath became the chief minister. But after he became the CM, many factories were established here. At present also many big factories of the country are being established here. At present, about 600 industrial units are engaged in production in GIDA and more than twenty thousand people are employed here.
GIDA CEO Pawan Agarwal said that today is a historic day for GIDA. The projects whose foundation stones are being laid today will accelerate the development of the industry. Employment will increase. About four thousand people will get employment from these projects. Foundation stone of 32 development works worth Rs 189.40 crore and inauguration of 17 development works worth Rs 70.24 crore will be done.
The projects for which foundation stone was laid include construction of 132 KV power sub-station in Sector 27 at a cost of Rs 27.26 crore, development work of plastic park in Sector 28 at a cost of Rs 69.58 crore, construction of flatted factory in Sector 13 at a cost of Rs 33.92 crore. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the power sub-station at Bhiti Rawat Gida Sector 26 at a cost of Rs 12.06 crore.
