CM Yogi assures that each district will have a 100 bed hospital to ramp up healthcare in state

Lucknow: Large numbers of people died in the first wave of the coronavirus, and many died immediately due to the unavailability of beds in hospitals. Even after the maximum number of deaths, the government took things in their stride and said that it would get more hospitals constructed in UP and so far they have got 61 new hospitals constructed in UP.

Work is about to start in the remaining 14 districts. Along with this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has resolved for the second term that there will be one hundred bed hospital in every assembly constituency.

The time of 5 years has been fixed for this. Free dialysis facility will also be made available in every district. In addition to the district hospital, a first referral unit has also been included in each district.

In front of the Yogi cabinet, the entire health plan was presented in the health department in the annexe building. The Department of Food and Drug Administration proposed its schemes including Medicine, Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, AYUSH, Child Development and Nutrition involved in this sector.

Along with this, he ordered that a hospital of one hundred beds should be built in every assembly constituency.

Mission Zero will be run for waterborne diseases like Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya, Zika Virus, Japanese Encephalitis, AES and Kala-azar.

Add at least 800 new ambulances in the next 100 days. Efforts to increase the number of ALS from 250 to 375 in a year and then to a further 500.

Response time of 108 ambulance service should be further reduced.

There should be adequate availability of medicines in all the hospitals and health centres. There should be no shortage of about 300 medicines considered essential. It will be continuously monitored.

On the lines of the Kovid report, the investigation report of dengue, chikungunya, malaria is also on the portal.

Preparation of hot cooked meals as well as more nutritious morning snacks (milk-fruits etc.) to children in the age group of three to six years in Anganwadi centres.
Uttar Pradesh will be the first state to have live emergency monitoring system.

Preparation of Mobile App based Digital Platform and Command Call Center.

A strategy for setting up e-hospital will be prepared in the state and it will be made functional in two years.

Five nursing schools, three para-medical schools and 24 skill labs will be set up in the next six months.
