CM Yogi consecrates idol of Ma Kali in Gorakhpur

Lucknow /  Gorakhpur: The statues of Maa Kali, Lord Ganesh, and Lord Bhairav were dedicated  to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the recently built Shrikali Mata shrine on the grounds of the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur.

In the presence of 13 priests, Adityanath, the Gorakhnathpeeth or Gorakshpeethadhishwar’s head, performed the consecration process. An event called a “bhandara” was planned after the ceremonies were finished, and many devotees received “prasad” at this time. In the Shrikali Mata temple, which is close to the ‘gaushala’ of the Goraknath temple, preparations for the consecration ritual of the statues had started a week earlier.
