CM Yogi dedicates best Republic Day Tableau honour to people of state

Lucknow: At the Republic Day parade held in New Delhi, the tableau of Uttar Pradesh won and secured the first position. UP’s ‘ODOP and Kashi Vishwanath Dham’ tableau got the first prize and the award was handed over to CM Yogi Adityanath. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Information Dr Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister SP Goyal, Principal Secretary Information Sanjay Prasad and Director Information Shishir handed over this award to CM.

CM Yogi Adityanath congratulated the people of Uttar Pradesh on the achievement of this prestigious honor. He said that getting the first prize for the tableau of Uttar Pradesh in Delhi would give a boost to the distinctive products of all the districts of the state and to promote cultural and religious tourism in the state.

On Republic Day this year, a tableau on the theme ‘ODOP and Kashi Vishwanath Dham’ was presented by Uttar Pradesh in the parade of Rajpath in Delhi. In the year 2021 also, the tableau of Uttar Pradesh got the first place, while in the year 2020, the tableau here was at number two.

During the Republic Day 2022 parade, the song ‘Pulkit Hai Ganga Ki Dhara’ was broadcast on the tableau when the grand Vishwanath corridor opened. Written by lyricist Virendra Vats, music was given by Rajesh Soni and singer Maneesh Sharma had decorated it with his own words.

The tableau of UP was presented by the State Information and Public Relations Department. In this tableau, artists of Charkula Art Academy, Mathura gave a cultural presentation. This tableau was produced by Vivid India, through which people got a glimpse of One District One Product Scheme and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham at Rajpath in New Delhi. People all over the world had seen it online as well.

Tableaux of 12 states from the country were included in the Republic Day- 2022 parade. In which states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Uttarakhand, Punjab were included. The tableaux of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir were appreciated the most. The tableau of West Bengal did not find a place in this parade.
