Lucknow/Jaunpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Jaunpur is a fast progressing district with the process of development of new Uttar Pradesh in New India. Soon the residents of Jaunpur will get all the facilities for which they have waited for decades. Development is the need of the day. We have to keep in mind that the development schemes for which the government has given money, should be used only for the related work.
Chief Minister was addressing a program organized at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University on this occasion after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of 116 development projects costing Rs 258 crore in Jaunpur district. In the program, the Chief Minister distributed symbolic keys to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural and urban) and Chief Minister Awas Yojana, laptops/tablets/smartphones to the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojna, Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana and Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana.
He gave certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes including ODOP Scheme, Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme, PM Svanidhi Yojana, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Child Service Scheme (General), Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, wheel chair to the beneficiaries of Divyangjan Empowerment Scheme. Distributed the sticks and certificates to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat scheme.
The Chief Minister said that the state is fast emerging as a new economy. Projects worth Rs 258 crore are being inaugurated and foundation stone is being laid for the development of district Jaunpur, they are related to different areas of development.
These include projects related to education, health, sports, agriculture, rural development, livestock, basic education, secondary education. These projects will further enhance employment and job prospects in the district.
The Chief Minister said that the district Jaunpur, which is adjacent to Kashi, is moving ahead with a new identity. There is a need to bring the aroma of Jaunpur and the sweetness of Jaunpur to the global stage. Sharing about 30 years old memory related to Jaunpur, the Chief Minister said that at that time the perfume of Jaunpur was also famous. With the efforts of the district administration and public representatives, the program to reconnect the perfume with Jaunpur has been taken forward. The process of promoting Jaunpur’s Imarti as a GI product has started, so that it will become a new brand and dominate the world. He said that wherever the talent of Jaunpur has gone, it has left a distinct identity and a different mark. The people of Jaunpur have shown their talent in education, technology, agricultural scientists, business and in every sphere of life.
The Chief Minister said that today there is a need to provide maximum facilities to the people through technology. The way for the welfare of more and more people can be paved through technology. Today Jaunpur is moving in this direction. Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University is progressing rapidly in the field of education, higher education. Admission to the first session of Umanath Singh Autonomous State Medical College has been completed. This medical college will provide the benefit of specialized health facilities to the residents of Jaunpur and adjoining districts. Along with this, all today’s projects will work to connect Jaunpur with development while maintaining its ancient identity.
The Chief Minister said that during the Corona period, there was a large number of migrants, workers and laborers coming towards their villages in the lockdown. More than one and a half lakh migrant workers and workers had come to Jaunpur district. The people’s representatives and the administration together with responsibility had made arrangements for their safe transportation to their homes and their maintenance. 40 lakh such workers and laborers had come across the state. The work of giving respect to them and connecting them with livelihood was done successfully in Uttar Pradesh. For the last two and a half years, when Corona, the biggest epidemic of this century, has battered the whole world, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, to save the life and livelihood of the people in the country, free test, treatment, ration facility to every needy, free of cost. Corona vaccine has been made available. More than 200 crore vaccine doses have been administered.
The Chief Minister said that wherever a citizen of Uttar Pradesh goes, he is looked upon with respect. This was not the case 05 years ago. In the last five years, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Uttar Pradesh government has created a new trust in the country and the state by working on the policy of zero tolerance towards crime and criminals with public cooperation. People have accepted that there is no place for crime and criminals in Uttar Pradesh anymore. The state is riot free today. According to the data of the National Crime Records Bureau, the law and order situation of Uttar Pradesh is becoming an example for the country. Better law and order situation has opened up the vast possibilities of employment and investment in the state. If the youth of the state gets employment in the state itself, then he will not go out. Uttar Pradesh will definitely get the benefit of his talent and energy. Today all these possibilities have progressed rapidly in the state.
The Chief Minister said that we do not just say, but bring it to the fore by converting it into a result. This is happening for the first time that a sensitive government is working with full sensitivity to take the schemes of the government to every section of the society without any discrimination. of corruption today
There is a need to carry forward a big fight against The government has decided that the property of the corrupt will be acquired for public use and for the poor. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country, which enacted a law to teach a lesson to the rioters and implemented it effectively. On the same lines, we are also going to take action against the corrupt.
The Chief Minister said that on August 15, 2022, the Prime Minister had talked about Panch Prana in his address to the nation. These pledges include making a developed India, ending the part of slavery, performing our duties and preserving our heritage at all costs. Today there is a need to move forward a new campaign towards achieving the goal of self-reliant India. Success will be achieved in achieving this goal only when self-sufficient villages and towns are formed. For self-reliant villages, our gram panchayats also have to become self-reliant. Whichever Gram Panchayat will make itself self-reliant, separate funds will be provided by the State Government to make it a Smart Gram Panchayat. Through this, work will be done to keep the smart village as a good model in front of the state and the country. Similarly, the state government will cooperate at its level to make the municipal body which will make itself self-reliant.
The Chief Minister said that today India is the fastest growing economy in the world. Indian economy has taken a long leap. 75 years ago, being under British suzerainty for 200 to 250 years, people believed that India would not be able to do anything. But the successful leadership of India has made India the 5th economy of the world, leaving Britain behind. This rise of India proves that in the present century, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India will be helped to establish itself as the biggest power in the world. It is the desire in the mind of all Indians that the country should develop. If the country develops, everyone will develop. All sections of the society will get the benefits of development schemes.
The Chief Minister said that everyone will have to join with a positive thinking about their country. Today in an exhibition, he has realized the modern understanding of science, technology and language in the minds of children of basic education. It is because they are getting this type of platform. There is a desire in their mind to do something. The government and administration together with the public representatives have created such feelings. We are seeing their results too.
The Chief Minister said that the government of double engine is standing with every person and the needy. Everyone is being guaranteed safety. In the eyes of law, no one is being discriminated against on the basis of caste, creed, religion, region and language, but no one can be allowed to play with the law. The rule of law will apply in every situation, it is the resolve of the government. With this resolution, it is the moral obligation of the government to provide security to 25 crore population of the state.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is going to bring Uttar Pradesh Mathrubhumi Yojana for rural and urban areas. Under this scheme, any citizen can start any public work in the name of his ancestor. Those who want to build smart schools, skill development, community buildings, etc., can associate themselves with this scheme of the government. The state government will bear 50 percent of the cost of public works. Also, the state government will do the work of putting a stone plaque in the name of the ancestor of the person concerned. Along with showing gratitude to the ancestors, this scheme will also become a medium for development. The Chief Minister called upon all the people to join this program.
In the program, the Chief Minister released a book on ‘Freedom Struggle and Role of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh’. He visited the stalls put up by various departments.
Addressing the program, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sports and Youth Welfare, Girish Chandra Yadav said that the development in the state has increased at a rapid pace since the year 2017. New dimensions of development are being established every day. There should be a change in the lives of the poor, the government is working with this resolve. Soon Uttar Pradesh will become Uttam Pradesh. Employment is being given to the youth in the state with transparency.
Earlier, the Chief Minister inspected the Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College. While visiting various rooms including lab, museum, demonstration room, he interacted with patients in OPD and got information about their disease. He directed the executive organization to complete the construction work at a fast pace.
The sewerage treatment plant Panchhatia was also inspected by the Chief Minister. He got information about the functioning of the plant.
Senior officials of the government and administration including public representatives were present on the occasion.
It is to be noted that among the development projects launched by the Chief Minister today, there is a large cow protection center in village Chaurasand, Government Inter College, Kerakat, box culvert on the middle drain of Lapri-Japatapur and access road, Uchaura Nibhapur-Kabirpur road. The construction work of Satariya-Bania Basti link road, Seur Ramnagar-Newadhiya Tarti road from KM 04 to Pareva Harijan Basti link road is included.
Among the development projects laid by the Chief Minister are the bridge, approach road and protective work on Varuna river on Malethu-Chauri road, bridge over Basuhi river at Nagesara Ghat in the middle of Nagesara Purella village, approach road and protective work, Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya (Mungrabadshahpur, Hostel at Sujanganj, Machlishahr, Madiyahun and Jalalpur), hostel and academic block in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya (Maharajganj, Karanjakala and Suithakala), construction of Government Girls Inter College, Malhani, construction of 100 bedded hospital by upgrading primary health center Sikrara, 132 KV Electricity Substation Mungarabadshahpur (Ukni) to 33/11 KV Power Substation Seed, construction of new 33 KV line for Satariya and rural water supply in 60 Gram Panchayats are included.
