CM Yogi looks eagerly at expansion plan of Metro services in Uttar Pradesh

Agra: The people of Agra and a large number of tourists coming from all over the country and abroad will soon be able to enjoy Metro Rail. There the construction work is going on in full swing. It is being told that within 6 months the work of Metro Light project will start in Gorakhpur.

Recently, in a meeting before the cabinet of four departments related to the urban development sector, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave many instructions regarding the movement of metro and electronic buses.

It is the intention of the Yogi government to start metro rail service in Kashi, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Jhansi and Prayagraj. During the presentation, the Chief Minister directed the officials of the concerned department to initiate necessary process in this regard.

Within 6 months the work of Metro Light project will start in Gorakhpur. The Chief Minister also directed to prepare DPR of Metro Light, Metro Project for the rest of the cities where Metro Rail Project is proposed.
