Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has paid homage to the valour of Havildar Pinku Kumar of Baghpat, who was martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chief Minister has announced a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the families of the martyr. He has also announced to give a government job to a member of the family and to rename a district road in the name of the martyr.
Speaking for the martyr the Chief Minister said that the supreme sacrifice of a martyr who sacrificed his life to protect the nation will always be remembered.
Expressing his condolences to the family of martyr Pinku Kumar, he said that the state government is with his family in this hour of grief. He said that all possible help would be provided to the martyr’s family.
