CM Yogi prioritizes development of Vindhyachal region
Lucknow: The Yogi government, which is engaged in strengthening the infrastructure related to civic amenities along with industrial development in Uttar Pradesh, has now paved the way to give new impetus to the development works in Vindhyachal region. CM Yogi’s intention has always been for the integrated development of the Vindhya region and that is why till now 73 projects costing more than Rs 50 lakh have been completed in the Vindhya division within the stipulated time. At the same time, there are 177 projects on which work is still going on and this list also includes government mega projects like Vindhya Corridor and Medical College in Sonbhadra. In such a situation, the Yogi government has started working as per the detailed action plan towards regular monitoring of all these projects, resolution of problems related to the projects and ensuring high quality construction works.
Be it Pipri Barrack Hostel at Sonbhadra Police Station, ITI Dudhi, repair work at Nagwan Dam, or the construction work of Cow Conservation Centre, Seed Storage Center and Atal Residential School at Chopan, all these projects have to be completed either has been completed or is in the final stages of completion. The ongoing infrastructure projects in the Vindhya region are also being monitored by the Chief Secretary himself and these details have been given in the report presented before him. Regarding government mega projects like Vindhya Corridor and Medical College in Sonbhadra, there are clear instructions from the Yogi government that if any kind of obstacle arises in the completion of the projects, the process of resolving it should be adopted and there is no scope for any kind of delay or laxity. Is. This is the reason why the process of taking action against the contractor is also proposed due to the progress of construction work in the Ayush Hospital under construction in Mirzapur not being as per the action plan.
Work is being done on three-point agenda
According to the report, out of the projects costing more than Rs 50 lakh, 31 projects in Mirzapur have been completed while work on 75 is in progress. Whereas in Bhadohi, 18 projects have been completed while work on 48 is in progress. Similarly, in Sonbhadra region, 24 projects have been completed while work on 54 is in progress. To complete the projects on which work is still going on as soon as possible with full quality, a detailed action plan has been prepared in which mainly a three-pronged agenda has been determined. In these, importance has been given to identification of stakeholders and issues, identification and resolution of challenges faced in construction works.
Work will be expedited through review meetings and ground inspections
For the completion of projects, a continuous process of review meetings will be adopted to remove obstacles like land acquisition, clearance from forest department, SIT inquiry, utility shifting, budget allocation, proper manpower availability, quality construction, delay in tendering process. Commissioner, DM, CDO, other district level officers and funding agencies will participate in it and along with the site visit, if any obstacle arises related to any project, all the concerned officers will take up the matter with reference to senior officers of their department as soon as possible. Will register. In this way, an ecosystem is being developed to resolve the difficulties faced by the pending projects in the area, which will also be monitored from Lucknow from time to time.
