CM Yogi spells out the miracle that 3T happens to be at Team 9 meeting

Lucknow: A number of important decisions were taken in the team 9 meeting of the Yogi government. In the crucial meeting it was said that the success of the policy of aggressive tracing, testing, rapid treatment and rapid vaccination is that today while the number of cases of Covid is increasing once again in various states of the country, the positivity rate in Uttar Pradesh remains the lowest. The last day’s positivity was only 0.03%, while the average positivity in the current month is 0.23%.

At present the total number of active cases is 1645. In this, 1563 people are under treatment at home, while 29 people are under the supervision of doctors in hospitals. In the last 24 hours, more than 86 thousand tests were done and 318 new corona patients were confirmed. In the same period, 178 people were treated and became corona free. We have to be vigilant about the health safety of children.

Uttar Pradesh ranks top in the country in COVID testing and immunization with more than 11.60 million tests and over 33.40 million COVID vaccinations. The state’s entire population of 18+ years of age has received at least one dose of the vaccine, while more than 94.79% of adults have received both doses. 98.72% of adolescents aged 15-17 have received both the first dose and 82.5%, similarly, over 92% of children aged 12 to 14 have received the first dose and 52% have received both . Booster doses are expected to be given to people aged 18+. The general public should be made aware about the importance of booster dose and booster vaccination centres. Adolescents in the age group of 12-18 years need to expedite the second dose.

Speaking on farmers, he said while ensuring the protection of farmers’ interest, the process of wheat procurement should be continued till June 30. Order for extension of purchase period should be made with immediate effect. In view of the possibility of monsoon/rain in the coming days, adequate arrangements should be made for the security of the wheat being procured.

In the meeting the CM said, further increase in fleet of Advance Life Support Ambulances is necessary. All mobile medical vans should be functional. Technical support should be taken to keep their response time to a minimum.

The facilities of trauma centers in the medical institutions of the state need to be further improved. The trauma capacity of Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow and BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur needs to be increased further. Special attention should be given to improve trauma facilities in newly established medical colleges.

IIT Kanpur has prepared a model to provide better health facilities in rural areas. Study it and prepare a better action plan and submit it. Every year many people die untimely due to lightning. In order to alert people in time, there is a need to implement plants and information system soon to make technical arrangements with better coordination with the State Disaster Management Authority.

UP Board examinees will be waiting for their exam result. In such a situation, the result of board examinations should be released on time. Prior information about this must be given to the parents / examinees. Complete the ongoing process of appointment of more than 9000 ANMs in a time bound manner. It is included in the first 100 days action plan of the state government. Cleanliness and transparency should be maintained in the selection process. Eligible candidates should be selected and appointed at the earliest.
