CM Yogi tells officers to send applications seeking financial help for treatment of serious diseases fast

Gorakhpur :  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  instructed officials to send applications seeking financial assistance for the treatment of patients suffering from serious diseases to the government at the earliest. CM Yogi said that people suffering from serious illnesses would be treated in the best hospitals and that their weak economic conditions would not be an obstacle.

CM Yogi gave these instructions during Janata Darshan held in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan at Gorakhnath temple. Most attendees at the Janata Darshan on Monday had come to seek financial support from the CM for the treatment of serious diseases.

The Chief Minister listened to the problems of the people patiently and assured them of prompt redressal of heir complaints. When a woman pleaded the CM for financial help for the treatment of a family members in a hospital in Lucknow, which might not qualify for providing medical assistance, the Chief Minister immediately directed the officials to get the patient admitted to SGPGI or KGMU. The CM asked the woman if she had the Ayushman card and when she denied, he still assured her of financial assistance.

The CM directed the officers to make an estimate of the treatment cost and send it to the government as soon as possible. He told the woman that she would receive a call from the district magistrate regarding financial help for treatment. The CM assured all the people seeking financial assistance for treatment of diseases that once the process of estimation is completed, adequate funds will be released from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister handed over the prayer letters of all the people to the concerned administration and police officers and directed them to address the problems of the people sensitively and get them resolved promptly.

Some people from districts outside Gorakhpur division also attended the Janata Darshan. The Chief Minister assured a person who had come from Moradabad that the process of solving his problem would have started as soon as he reached home. The Chief Minister also showered his love on children accompanying their parents, inquired about their studies and gave them chocolates while encouraging them to work hard.

*CM Yogi performs ‘Annaprashan’ of a differently-abled sweeper’s daughter*

Gorakhpur: For differently-abled sweeper Vivek and his wife Sandhya, Monday was the happiest day of their lives so far as their long cherished wish of getting Annaprashan (grain-feeding) of his seven-month-old daughter done at the hands of CM Yogi Adityanath was fulfilled.

The Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath performed the Annaprashan of Vivek’s seven-month-old daughter on the temple premises and blessed her as Vivek’s eyes welled up with tears of happiness.

Vivek Sharma is an outsourcing sweeper in the Municipal Corporation and is crippled. He does the spraying work in the corporation. He lives with his wife Sandhya and two children including a three-year-old son and seven-month-old daughter in the employee accommodation built on the temple premises. Vivek and Sandhya had another child even before the daughter, but unfortunately he passed away untimely. According to Vivek, on the very day of his daughter’s birth, he had prayed to Guru Gorakhnath to grant him the wish that the Annaprashan of his daughter is done by the Gorakshpeethadhishwar and on Monday his wish was fulfilled.

Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath fed pudding to Vivek’s daughter, which Vivek had brought from home.
