Lucknow: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is running a big campaign to provide housing to the rural as well as the urban poor. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath transferred funds online to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Prior to 2017, Uttar Pradesh was far behind other states in rural and urban areas in order to provide benefits to the poor under PM Awas Yojana, but now the Yogi government has made UP on top in giving benefits of this scheme to the poor of the state.
CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday transferred an amount of Rs 1341 crore from DBT to 2 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. An amount of Rs 1341.17 crore of the first, second and third installment of the scheme has been transferred online to 2,00,853 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). On this occasion, CM Yogi also had a virtual dialogue with the beneficiaries of PM Svanidhi Yojana. When he inquired about the receipt of funds from the beneficiaries, it was found that SMS was received on the mobile of the beneficiaries.
CM Yogi transferred this amount along with Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon at his official residence. During this, the beneficiaries were present in the district magistrate’s office in the districts. CM Yogi Adityanath also interacted virtually with many of these people. The Chief Minister said that earlier there used to be corruption in the distribution of checks or cash. Even a Prime Minister had said that out of 100 rupees sent to the poor, 85 rupees were dishonestly grabbed by the middle people, but today Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made such a system that if 100 rupees is accepted, then the entire money of the poor. goes to the account.
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has also secured the first position in the Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi Yojana. In a conversation with Nirmala of Mirzapur, the beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) scheme, Yogi Adityanath said that this benefit could have been available earlier also, but the previous governments did not pay attention. During this, CM Yogi said that the track traders faced a lot of problems during the lockdown. Their capital was exhausted but Prime Minister Modi announced the self-reliant India package and through the Svanidhi scheme, took the initiative to make the track traders self-reliant. He said that under the scheme, loans were provided to more than seven and a half lakh beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that under PMAYAU, an amount of more than Rs 1,341 crore has been transferred online in the accounts of 2.85 lakh beneficiaries today. Under this scheme, this amount is of first, second and third installment. It is a matter of great happiness that today Krishna Janmashtami is coming in your life with a new auspicious news. My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and PM Svanidhi Awas Yojana.
