Lucknow: Kalakriti Bazaar, which has been making successful efforts to promote handicrafts continuously in Lucknow, has started an art and handicrafts exhibition on 4th September at the Hazratganj metro station which will be open for the general public on both days 4th and 5th September. Like every year in Kalakriti Bazaar this year also work is being done to connect many handicraftsmen of the city for selling and displaying their products. Ashish Singh, the organizer of Kalakriti Bazaar, says that he has been providing various platforms to support young artists in Lucknow for the past several years, the main ones being The Poets House’s Open Mic and Kalakriti Bazaar, small scale businesses in the Kalakriti Bazaar.
It has been making consistent efforts to promote the business of handicraft artists with an established approach. Kalakriti Bazaar is a 2 day event. which has been set up for the general public at Hazratganj metro station in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation from 11 am onwards on Sunday, 4th September.
In Kalakriti , Rangoli was exhibited by the students and young artists of the Higher University of Lucknow, whose theme is ‘Lucknow Metro’. The four teams will together make four different rangolis at Hazratganj, Munshipulia, Charbagh and Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) metro stations which will be on display for the public.
Special care was taken for the entertainment of the general public in Kalakriti Bazaar, for which a platform will be provided to the young artists of the city, in which Durgesh Sharma, Rudraksh Verma, Saubhagya and Aaradhya, Divyansh and Saurabh will makes the atmosphere lively and happy with their music performances.
Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation will celebrate its Metro Day with Kalakriti Bazaar at Hazratganj Ganj Metro Station celebrating the joy of completing 5 years in which photo exhibition will also be displayed at Hazratganj Metro Station.
On the last day of Kalakriti Bazaar on 5th September, Lucknow’s musical band Sangharsh Band performed after which all the artists participating in the competitions held in the Kalakriti Bazaar event were honoured by giving them a citation and best wishes in their future endeavours.
