Complete all work in record time before year ending – Dr. Roshan Jacob
Lucknow: Under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob, the review meeting of MP funds and projects worth more than one crore was held in the Divisional Commissioner’s office auditorium.
On this occasion, the District Magistrate and Chief Development Officer of all the districts of the circle were present virtually (online) and the concerned officers.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner first reviewed the district-wise physical and financial condition of completed/incomplete works under MP Local Area Development Scheme and directed the concerned officers to speed up the ongoing incomplete work and complete the entire work by March 30.
She said that the concerned officer should keep monitoring all the works at his own level from time to time, there should not be any laxity in this.
The work of 319 completed projects has been completed against the total number of 504 projects approved by the 17th Lok Sabha in the division.
Against the total sanctioned projects of 146 in Lucknow, work on 93 projects has been completed and instructions were given to the concerned officer to complete the remaining work expeditiously.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner expressed her displeasure over the slow progress in the development works being done in Sitapur by the Small Scale Industries Corporation Limited, Kanpur and directed to speed up the works.
Regional Manager Small Industries Corporation Limited Gorakhpur instructed to give adverse entry to the concerned officer for negligence and not giving satisfactory reply in the work of 17 electric high mask lights in district Sitapur.
While giving strict instructions to the concerned officers, the Divisional Commissioner said that by getting the incomplete works done on a war footing, it should be ensured that all the incomplete works are completed by March 30.
Expressing displeasure over the absence of concerned officials of NEDA, Agro in the meeting, directed the concerned officer to be present in the next meeting.
