Complete details of patient will be available in one click across India

Lucknow: Patients will not need to bring documents related to treatment to the hospital. The details of the treatment of each patient will be available in the hospitals of the country. In one click, the complete information about the tests and treatment done by the patient in the past will be on the computer screen.

This will be possible with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) scheme. Under the plan, a database of hospitals and doctors will also be prepared. The scheme will be given more speed in UP.

This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that the ABDM scheme of the Government of India would be implemented effectively. Through this scheme, a database of health records of all the citizens of India will be prepared.

In this the person’s illness, doctor’s advice, pathology, radiology and other investigation reports will be preserved. As a result, patients will not need to physically preserve medical records. In ABDM, every citizen of the country will get a unique health ID. It will be built on Ayushman Bharat Health Account (MBHA). The patient’s data will be saved in the form of an electronic health record. Which will be linked to Bharat Health Account. This data will be completely secure.

There will be less line to get OPD form

The patient will not have to stand in long queues in the hospital even for getting OPD form. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that medical colleges, institutes, government and private medical institutions will be linked. State Mission Director, ABDM will be the nodal officer. State ABDM unit will be set up to administer the scheme.

Planning will be a boon in epidemic

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) of people would prove to be a boon in dangerous epidemics like Corona. With the details of diseases, they can be alerted. Special precautions can be taken. Providing treatment will also help. This will make combating the epidemic easier.

Research will also gain momentum

With the preparation of the patients’ database, area- and district-wise information about the disease and the number of patients can be gathered. Which will be useful for research. Health ID will be free and voluntary. This ID will help in analyzing the health data. This will also prepare the details of availability of medicines and equipment in the hospitals.

Hospital and doctor’s database

Under the scheme, a database of hospitals and doctors of the country will also be prepared. National Identification Number (NIN) will be provided. With this, the patient of the country will be able to take advice from any institute and doctor. Complete information about all government and private hospitals of the country will be available online. Which anyone can see. National Health Authority has launched Public Dash Board under ABDM. With this, real time information related to the scheme can be obtained.

– Hospital Information Management System will be operated in a better way
The complete health data of every citizen will be in the electronic health record. All information related to the treatment of each patient will be available online
– Patient’s record linked with Health ID will be safe. Only the doctor or consultant with whom you share it will be able to see it.
There will be ease in providing facilities for doctors, hospitals, medical institutions and health service providers.
Ease of payment system
It will encourage the use of technologies like telemedicine.
