Lucknow: To condole the sad demise of his Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh husband of Queen Elizabeth-II, a condolence meeting was called by the Organization for Nuclear Disarmament, World Peace and Environment (ONDAWPE) in its Aliganj based office under the Presidentship of its President Dr. Ammar Rizvi.
Dr. Rizvi expressing his grief over the sad departure of the Prince Consort said that Prince Philip’s death is a great loss to the movement of environment conversation globally.
He said Prince Philip had devoted his entire life in conservation, protection of wildlife and been an advocate for World Peace.
Dr. Rizvi said Prince Philip shall always be remembered for his humane approach, for his efforts to establish peace on this planet. There is already an appeal made to ONDAWPE to send a condolence message to Her Majesty the Queen and to his eldest son His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales.
As a mark of mourning and respect for the departed soul, the Committee observed two minutes silence.
