Congress plans to analyse where it went wrong in Civic Polls

Lucknow: A State level review meeting in relation to the urban body elections held in the state, a meeting of state office bearers and district/city presidents has been convened on 22 May 2023 at the UP Congress Committee Headquarters under the chairmanship of State Congress President, former MP  Brijlal Khabri. All the provincial presidents of UP Congress will also be present in the meeting.

State Congress media convenor and spokesperson Ashok Singh said in a press release issued  that district/city presidents have been called by sending a circular from the state Congress headquarters to come to the meeting along with information related to urban body elections.

Singh said that the Congress party is very serious about the just concluded municipal elections. In the meeting, discussions will be held on the performance of the candidates of the Congress party in Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat, Nagar Palika Parishad across the state and how to connect the general public towards the party in the coming times.
