Congress plans to up the ante with Bhrasht Yaar Bachaye Sarkaar slogan in mind

New Delhi: The Congress party will hold expose rallies across the country on the Adani case with the resumption of the budget session of Parliament from next month. These rallies will be organized from 6th to 10th March with the slogan Bhrasht Yaar – Bachaye Sarkar. Apart from this, ‘Raj Bhavan Chalo’ march will be organized in all the state capitals on March 13.

Congress has issued a press note saying that the recent Hindenburg report has exposed the crony capitalism policy of Prime Minister Modi and BJP government in favor of Adani. In a time of deep economic crisis, PM Modi is selling the country’s vital infrastructure to Adani Group, tilting India’s foreign policy and forcing public institutions like SBI and LIC to invest in Adani Group. Recent revelations have shown that the savings of crores of rupees of poor and middle class people are at risk.

Congress has said that the party has been raising this issue at every level in Parliament, in media and social media and in front of people. Recently, press conferences were held in 23 cities on 17 February. The Congress party has decided to intensify its agitation and take this issue directly to the people. All State Congress Committees have been asked to hold press conferences in all districts, where senior state leaders will address the media. After this, all the state units will organize agitational activities at different levels.

In addition, block-level agitations will be organized in front of public sector banks and LIC offices from March 6 to 10, 2023 across the country. Expose rallies will be organized at all the district headquarters in the month of March. A massive “Chalo Raj Bhavan” march will be organized at state headquarters on March 13, 2023.

In the month of April, massive expose rallies will be organized in all state capitals, and will be addressed by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other national level leaders.

All senior state level leaders, MPs, MLAs/MLCs and other elected representatives, leaders of frontal organisations, departments and cells and party workers have been asked to participate in all these agitational programmes.
