Firstly Purvanchal University, Jaunpur team won the toss and decided to bat first. Purvanchal University team, performing a thrilling game, scored 69 runs in 11.2 overs and set a target of 70 runs for the Raj Bhawan team.
Chasing the set victory target, Raj Bhawan team scored 43 runs in 11.4 overs. As a result Veer Bahadur Purvanchal University team won this thrilling match due to excellent performance of their skilled players and defeated Raj Bhawan team by 26 runs. Governor Anandiben Patel enjoyed this exciting match and met the players of both the teams and encouraged them and congratulated them for their excellent performance.
