Cultural fest brings out the best of Uttarakhand at local fest in city

Lucknow: Under the aegis of Awadhi Combined Natya Akademi Lucknow, Government of India in collaboration with Ministry of Culture organized a two-day  festival and workshop based on folk culture and traditions, organized at Mohan Singh Bisht auditorium of Uttarakhand Maha Parishad Bhawan, Kurmachal Nagar Lucknow.

Inauguration of Lokotsav Shri Harishchandra pant President, Shri Diwan Singh, Officers Coordinator, Shri Mangal Singhrawat, Vanshree Khushhal Singh Bisht, Anupama Shrivastava, Haritima pant duly started the program by lighting the lamp jointly.

The program was conducted by senior announcer  Surendra Rajeshwari Akashvani Lucknow. The guests were welcomed by the President and the Secretary of the Academy by presenting them with bouquets, robes and emblems.

The Program was directed and coordinated by Imran Khan. Various folk colors  were presented in the Lokotsav by the beautiful performers which are as follows.

First of all, Ganeshvandana Bharata Natyakarta is Ojasvitajyotsnadityanshi. Dance based on Radhakrishna, whose artist is – Sanghavi Kanishkajyotasana Andri Bisht and Ojasvita etc. Ghoomere Uttarakhand’s folk dancer Hai Kanishka ojaSwita, jyotasna and Vitanishka Andree bisht etc.

Traditional Rajasthani folk dance was performed by Dibyashukla, Priti misra, vandna, mahima and Mallika etc.

Awadhi lokgeet was performed  Yupika tiwari and Bhumika tiwari Dancers – Anantika Sharma, Shalinigupta, Harshitagupta, Bhumivarma etc.

In the dance direction of Anupama Shrivastava, the artist of the folk dance were Saanvi, Shrutikushwaha, Meenakshi Chandra, Sanchiyabera, Aradhya Singh and fellow artists.

In the direction of the dance of Nidhi tiwari, the folk dance whose lyrics are spoken by Bihari artists Anshika Sharma, Varsha Singh, Vansika Sharma, Aadhyabisht, Janvibisht,

In the end the dance guru, vangayan guru and artists were honored by the chief guest. The program was concluded by Nandan Singh Khanni.
