Culturally rich day at Awadh Mahotsav
Lucknow: In the upcoming three-day Awadh Mahotsav 22 at the Sangeet Natak Akademi campus, the culture of Awadh will be shared with the general public with singing, playing, dancing, poetry, recitation, rangoli, painting, face painting for all age groups.
It is being organized by the Tourism Department, Uttar Pradesh Culture Department at Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi. In the Awadh Mahotsav started under the joint aegis of the Awadh Mahotsav, a heritage walk was organized with Ravi Bhatt, in which the people of Lucknow city participated.
In the afternoon, Mo Naushad performed the traditional puppetry of Awadh under the supervision of Jyoti Kiran Ratan.
Gobar Ganesh was performed with Ganesh and then children and youth danced on Awadhi songs. Today’s program concluded with a display of traditional costumes of Awadh.
