Day long activities commemorate the completion of one year of Kashi Vishwanath Dham
Varanasi: The first anniversary of Vishwanath Dham is on Tuesday, but since Monday evening, the grandeur of the Dham complex increased with attractive decorations. The fragrance of fragrant flowers was mesmerizing the entire complex as well as the infinite sky in front of the golden pinnacle of the Vishwanath Temple.
On the other hand, festive decorations have been done on the surrounding ghats including the Ganges Gate of Lalita Ghat.
Vishwanath Temple’s Chief Executive Officer Sunil Kumar Verma said from 11 am 11 Brahmins will perform havan-pujan. In the seminar organized in the afternoon, scholars related to religion, education and culture will present their views on the subject of expansion on the global platform of Vishwanath Dham.
Famous singer Anuradha Paudwal will host a cultural evening at Mandir Chowk from 5 pm, which will continue till 8 pm. Many local artists will also be seen in the musical evening.
Vedic Brahmins, Archakas and Sevadars will also be honored at the conclusion. Special Prasad will be distributed to the people who come to worship Baba.
A Shobha Yatra will be taken out from Maidagin on behalf of Shiv Baraat Committee from 12 noon, which will go till Dedhasi bridge.
The form of India will be visible in the Shobha Yatra. Along with Kashi’s litterateur, lawyer, doctor, folk artists from Assam, Sonbhadra, Bundelkhand will also participate. In view of the possibility of reaching a large number of devotees on the first anniversary, the work of barricading, canopies and mats from all the entrances to the campus continued till late night.
