Lucknow: According to instructions of Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, an amount of Rs. 76 crore 90 lakh 76 thousand has been released by the Uttar Pradesh government under various conditions for the ongoing work of sanction, widening and strengthening of 13 state/major/other district roads. Necessary mandate in this regard has been issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Public Works Department.
These works are going on in Hamirpur, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Kanpur Nagar, Amethi, Kushinagar, Gonda, Firozabad and Gorakhpur districts.
In the issued mandate, the Chief Engineer (Development) and Head of the Department, Public Works Department have been directed that the expenditure/utilization of funds allocated for the ongoing works, the guidelines issued by the Finance Department and the rules/standing orders of the budget manual and financial handbook etc.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has instructed all the concerned officers that the quality and standards of works should be taken care of and all the works should be compulsorily completed within the stipulated time limit.
