Lucknow: After a long discussion with State Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma and office bearers of Electricity Employees Sangharsh Samiti of Electricity Department, Chairman of its constituent organizations and convenor of the convenor committee, Shailendra Dubey, the workers who have been working for 04 to 05 days the work boycott has been postponed with everyone’s consent.
Energy Minister AK Sharma said that after the end of the work boycott, the Energy Department assured the unions of electrical workers that the demands of electrical workers would be considered soon.
Some demands will be processed quickly and some demands will be considered positively by forming a bilateral and tripartite committee. He said that both power companies and power workers will work to make the state’s power system smooth by creating better work culture, coordination and harmony among themselves. At the same time, they will also display better human behavior.
The Energy Minister has also demanded from the office bearers of the Vidyut Karmachari Sangharsh Samiti that wherever there has been disruption in power supply during the work boycott, it will be ended soon and the fixed power supply will be restored in the state. Other electrical works and problems which could not be done due to boycott will also be completed soon. Along with this, whatever hindrance has come in revenue collection during the boycott, we will make up for the less revenue collection done by working hard.
He also thanked the Chief Minister of the state that due to his efforts, an atmosphere could be created for dialogue between the Power Corporation and the organizations of electrical workers, and with the efforts of all, this movement ended. Everyone deserves thanks for this.
