Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak appreciates efforts under Mission Niramaya
Lucknow: Nursing is not a profession but a means of human service. A lot of work is being done in the state in the field of nursing and paramedical. Hundreds of people have got employment under Mission Niramaya. The website was launched.
These views were expressed by the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Brajesh Pathak in the citation distribution of A category nursing and paramedical institutions and Niramaya Gaurav, Nursing Teacher Excellence Award ceremony at the State Medical Faculty organized at SGPGI.
He said that Uttar Pradesh is a fast growing state. Ayushman cards are being prepared on war footing. Work is going on on a large scale in the state under One District-One Medical College. Recruitment is being done regularly in nursing and paramedical fields. He informed that on October 8 last year, the Chief Minister had launched the grading system of colleges in the field of nursing and paramedical under Mission Niramaya. These A rated institutions are being honored.
He informed that Continuous Nursing Professional Development Program has been started under the Mission. Uttar Pradesh is going to become the first state in India to implement such a comprehensive program for the nursing profession. Workshops, seminars, webinars and skill demonstration programs will be conducted under this campaign. Deputy CM informed that Nursing Teacher Excellence Award is being launched under Niramaya Gaurav. The website of Mission Niramaya was also launched. He thanked the medical personnel who did excellent work.
Minister of State for Health Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Principal Secretary (Medical Education) Alok Kumar, Director General (Medical Education) Kinjal Singh, SGPGI Director Dr. RK Dhiman and other dignitaries were present in the program.
