Exhibition and Live Demonstration organized at Regional Center Lucknow on the 67th Foundation Day of National Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi.
Lucknow: On the auspicious occasion of 67th Foundation Day of National Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi on August 05, 2021, many grand art programs were organized at regional centers across the country. Under the aegis of the academy, art programs were also organized at the Regional Center of Fine Arts in Lucknow, in which a collective exhibition of the works of scholarly scholarship artists of 2018-19 and 2019-20 was organized by the Lalit Kala Akademi, which was inaugurated by the chief guest Mukul Singhal I.A.S. He did it by lighting the lamp. Artists and art lovers of the city were present on this occasion. While observing the exhibition, Singhal discussed and encouraged the artists present on their artworks.
On this occasion, Singhal said that I am proud of my ancestors who after independence established many institutions to think and encourage the art music literature of the country and to make it run smoothly. Due to which today the art of the country is prospering and developing. National Fine Arts, New Delhi, which is completing 67 years today, is one of these major institutions. It is a matter of honor for the arts and artists. After independence, the contribution of art in the development of the country is as big as that of other genres. In order to encourage art and artists, various programs of fine arts are being done in the country, which are continuously making our art an identity at the national and international level. The artist always completes his creation with a challenge which is recorded as a history for a long time. All art institutions should make a united effort to strengthen the artists financially because the development of art and artists is the development of the art of the country and the state.
Regional Secretary of Regional Center Lucknow, Dr. Devendra Kumar Tripathi, while initiating the program, gave detailed information about all the activities of fine arts. He told that Lalit Kala Akademi is an autonomous organization formed in independent India which was established on 05 August 1954 by the Government of India. It is a central organization that was established by the Government of India to work in the field of fine arts, such as sculpture, painting, print art, ceramic art etc. He also informed about the positive activities going on under the inspiration and direction of the Honorable President of National Fine Arts New Delhi, Dr. Uttam Pacharane. The special guest of the program, Dr. Alok Kumar said that in the interest of art and artists, the college is always working step by step with the college and fine arts. This will continue in the coming times as well.
He expected all the art institutions of the state to cooperate in this work together. In this episode, Dr. Sanjeev Kishore Gautam, while appreciating the various efforts of Lalit Kala Akademi, congratulated Lalit Kala Akademi and all the artists and artists associated with it for the all round development of the artists.
On this occasion, senior painter of the state, Rajendra Prasad also did a live painting demonstration. Which was appreciated by everyone including the chief guest. Sarika Kumari, Majid Mansoori, Bhupendra Kumar Asthana, Shani Kesari, Piyali Paul, Jagjit Rai, Abhilasha Singh, Yoges Kumar, Shraddha Tiwari, Sachin Gaur, Asima Chandra, Divya Upadhyay were amongst the research artists of 2018-19 and 2019-20 in the exhibition.
About 26 artworks (articles, paintings, graphics, drawings and sculptures) of Utkarsh Kumar, Abhishek Pal, Ranjan Singh were displayed. This art exhibition will be kept open for art lovers till August 12, 2021.
The program was specially attended by the President of State Lalit Kala Akademi Sita Ram Kashyap, Nivedita Singhal, Editor of Nadarang Alok Paradkar, Venugopal, Pramod Varua, Shibram Das, Hemraj, Soumya, Gyanendra Mishra, all the employees of Fine Arts including Covid. People should be present as per rules. This program was conducted by K. Soumya. In the end, the Regional Secretary expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries who attended the programme.
