Distinguished denizens of city meet and greet Governor Anandiben Patel on Holi

Lucknow: On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel met State Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister of Minority Welfare, Waqf and Haj Department Danish Azad Ansari, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar and other public representatives, senior administrative and police officers, Vice Chancellor of the University and dignitaries. Everyone wished her a Happy Holi.

Earlier, all the officers, employees and children of Raj Bhavan including Principal Secretary Kalpana Awasthi met the Governor and congratulated her on Holi. On this occasion, the Governor wished the employees working in Raj Bhavan by distributing sweets as gifts on the occasion of Holi and wished everyone a happy life.

The Governor said that Holi is a festival of living together and imbibing the colors of life within. Holika Dahan teaches all that leaving all the bad deeds, one should adopt good deeds. She appealed to avoid harmful colors for the skin and use organic colors only.
