Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob reviews preparedness for grand Amrit Carnival
Lucknow: In the series of programs being organized on the occasion of 75th anniversary of independence, Amrit Carnival will be launched in Hazratganj on 15th August at 6 pm in collaboration with Lucknow Development Authority and RWA Association.
In view of which, all the arrangements are being made by the Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob after reaching Hazratganj were reviewed.
It was informed by the Divisional Commissioner that various cultural programs would be organized in Amrit Carnival, presentation of programs by various musical bands, selfie points and other events would be organized.
The said carnival will be concluded on August 17 by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister. It was told by the Divisional Commissioner that on the closing day of the carnival, the best decorated markets, best decorated government and non-government offices, best decorated RWA apartments, best decorated educational institutions and competitions organized under Amrit Mahotsav winners will be awarded.
Simultaneously, Lucknow Development Authority Vice-Chairman Indra Mani Tripathi, Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh and officers of the Association were present on the occasion.
