DM and SP listened to the problems of complainants in Jethwara and Mandhata police stations on ‘Thana Samadhan Diwas’.

Pratapgarh: District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan and Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil reached Police Station Jethwara and Police Station Mandhata on the occasion of ‘Thana Samadhan Diwas’ and after listening to various complaints, gave instructions to the concerned officers for quick disposal.

A total of 10 complaints were received in Jethwara police station, on which the District Magistrate constituted a joint team of revenue and police personnel to resolve 05 revenue related complaints on the spot.

He also inspected the records of the Lekhpals present there and gave necessary directions to the concerned.

Similarly, 4 complaints were received in Mandhata police station and a joint team of revenue and police was formed and sent on the spot to resolve the complaints.

Regarding the disposal of the complaints received during ‘Thana Samadhan Diwas’, the District Magistrate directed that the joint team of the Police Department and the Revenue Department should go to the spot and get the related complaints resolved as soon as possible without any bias.

He directed the ‘Lekhpals’ that if any irregularities are found in the disposal of any revenue related matter, action will be taken against the concerned.

The District Magistrate directed the officers that the problems received during ‘Thana Samadhan Diwas’, Complete Solution should be given in accordance with the intention of the government and in a quality manner, so that the complainants do not have to wander here and there with their complaints again and again.

The District Magistrate directed the officers to listen to the complaints of the complainants who come with their problems seriously and the problems should be resolved in a timely and quality manner and carelessness and indifference will never be tolerated at any level.

On this occasion, the Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil said that the complainants who come to the police station should be treated respectfully, their complaints should be heard carefully and their complaints should be resolved as soon as possible.

He also directed the police officers that if revenue related complaints are received, they should go to the spot along with the concerned Lekhpal and get the complaint resolved.

On this occasion, concerned officers and officers/employees of Revenue and Police Department were present.
