District Magistrate directed all the Assistant Engineers of Jal Nigam that the report should be made available after verifying the remaining land being selected for the overhead water tank.
Bareilly: Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Shivakant Dwivedi, the DPR of Jal Jeevan Mission was presented. The meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium. Additional District Magistrate Administration Ritu Punia, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Balveer Singh, Executive Engineer Rural Jal Nigam Kumkum Gangwar and all the Deputy District Magistrates, Assistant Engineers of Jal Nigam and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The Executive Engineer Rural Jal Nigam apprised the District Magistrate that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, land for overhead water tanks has been made available at 899 places in gram panchayats and land is being selected in 231 gram panchayats. The District Magistrate directed the Assistant Engineers of all Jal Nigams to verify the remaining selected land with the Lekhpal and make available the report and also upload the data.
The District Magistrate directed all the NCC firms to ensure that the DPR is prepared and deposited in relation to the available land at the earliest. He said that the list of villages in the tehsils where conjunctions are being done should also be made available to the concerned Deputy District Magistrate.
