Bareilly: Under chairmanship of District Magistrate Shivakant Dwivedi, a meeting was held in the Collectorate auditorium regarding the provision of land for 25 new health sub-centres in the district.
The District Magistrate said that 54 health sub-centres are running on rent in the district, in view of the problem of these health sub-centres, fast efforts are being made by the government to make 25 health sub-centres government, at present there are 12 health sub-centres.
Land has been made available for this and the allotment of land for 13 health sub centers is yet to be done. Out of which 12 health sub centers which is 10 in Tehsil Sadar and 2 in Tehsil Amla. The District Magistrate said that there are 54 health sub centers in the district and 5 blocks are aspirational in Bareilly district, out of which 3 blocks are in Baheri and 2 blocks are in Amla.
The District Magistrate directed to make available land for setting up 16 health sub-centres in these aspirational blocks. The District Magistrate also said that some land should be vacant around these health sub-centres because in future a 10×15 ‘Health Wellness Center’ would be set up under the Ayushman Bharat scheme of the Government of India.
The District Magistrate said whether the land of these 25 health sub-centres was made available on Tuesday or not. This will also be reviewed. The District Magistrate instructed all Deputy District Magistrates and Superintendents / Medical Officers in-charge that the work should be done on priority basis by establishing coordination among themselves.
