Lucknow: Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey, General Secretary of the South Asian Handball Federation and Executive Member of the Handball Federation of India, has been elected as a member of the Organization and Competition Commission of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF).
The general secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Handball Association, Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey, was appointed by Mo. Shafiq, the general secretary of the Asian Handball Federation, and Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Lail, the executive director, through a letter issued on November 25, 2021. Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey has been made a member for the next four years (2021-25), which will work to further promote the game of handball in Asia. Along with this, a better environment will be created for organizing the competition.
On this appointment, the President of Handball Federation of India A. Jaganmohan Rao and General Secretary Dr. Tejraj Singh congratulated Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey for this new responsibility at the international level. Both expressed confidence that their experience would help in giving new dimensions to the game of handball in Asia and would also provide an opportunity to create a better environment for the game of handball in India.
Along with Vinay Kumar Singh, Treasurer of Handball Federation of India, President of Uttar Pradesh Handball Association, Alka Das and Chairman, Dr. Sudhir M. Bobde (IAS), President of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, Viraj Sagar Das also congratulated Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey.
At present, Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey is the Treasurer of the Indian Olympic Association as well as the General Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association.
