Dr. Rajeshwar Singh celebrates his 50th birthday in his constituency
Lucknow: Along with one year of Dr. Rajeshwar Singh in politics, the 50th birthday of Sarojini Nagar MLA was also celebrated with great enthusiasm. Dr. Rajeshwar Singh dedicated his birthday and political achievements of one year to the people of Sarojini Nagar. In the last one year, the people of Sarojini Nagar stood by their MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh continuously, supported him in every happiness and sorrow and every moment. Expressing gratitude towards the people of the area, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh celebrated ‘Gratitude Day’. On this Gratitude Day, various programs were organized under Sarojini Nagar assembly constituency.
The MLA started the program by visiting and worshiping the deities at the Chandrika Devi Temple located in Bangla Bazar. He also organized a grand Bhandara in the temple premises for the local public. A large number of people took prasad and wished their MLA on his birthday. Apart from this, Bhandara was also organized at Durga Mandir Saidata Marg Arjunganj, Dhakeveer Baba Mandir, Jangli Mata Mandir Fatehganj, Bade Baba Mandir, Bariganwa and Hanuman Mandir near Sainik Dhaba Telibagh in the constituency.
The main objective of Dr. Rajeshwar Singh is to connect every person of the area with the link of development. In order to make women self-reliant and self-reliant, the legislators are constantly getting sewing centers established. In this sequence, on the occasion of Gratitude Day, he distributed 106 sewing machines and got 11 sewing centers established. Along with this, motorized tricycles were provided to 5 Divyangjans, manual tricycles to 5 and wheelchairs to 2 Divyangjans in order to provide assistive devices to Divyangjans.
During this, in the year 2022, 50 meritorious students who excelled in Intermediate and High School examinations were honored with cycles and certificates. Committed to promoting digital literacy, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh distributed tablets to 10 promising students and also distributed 10 sports kits to promote sports among the youth.
The local citizens present in the program told that Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, after being elected MLA from Sarojini Nagar, is continuously striving for self-reliance of women, for this he has set a target of distributing 3,000 sewing machines to women by adding them to self-help groups, In this sequence, sewing machines are continuously being distributed to self-help groups active in Sarojini Nagar. Along with this, every week ‘Aapka Vidhayak-Aapke Dwar’ is organized in different villages of the region to redress public problems. To honor the students, cycles are provided to 4 meritorious students under ‘Pride of the Village’. Digital labs are being set up in all the Girls Degree Colleges of the area. In order to encourage better physical health and sports of the youth, ‘Sarojani Nagar Sports League’ was also launched by the MLA, under which girls’ basketball competition has also been successfully organized, now the cricket league is to be organized in the next phase. Three basic schools in the area were upgraded and swings were also installed in 55 schools. The public says about their MLA that not only in the state, but perhaps in the whole country, so many big works have been added to the achievements of a MLA in one year.
During this Union Minister and BJP MP from Mohanlalganj Kaushal Kishore, former minister and member of Legislative Council Mahendra Singh, outgoing Mayor Lucknow Municipal Corporation Sanyukta Bhatia, BJP District President Shrikrishna Lodhi, Member of Legislative Council Ram Chandra Pradhan and former MP Reena Chaudhary Chaudhary, former MLC Kanti Singh and Shiv Sena State President Anil Singh came to wish BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh on his birthday.
The people of Sarojini Nagar also celebrated the birthday of their MLA with great pomp and enthusiasm, throughout the day a large number of area residents were seen reaching the MLA’s Ashiana residence to wish him a happy birthday. A feast was also organized by Dr. Rajeshwar Singh for all the guests and residents of the area. 50 kg cake and 50 kg boondi laddoos were also distributed by regional BJP leaders.
