Dr. Roshan Jacob presides over Divisional Udyog Bandhu meeting

Lucknow: A meeting of the Divisional Udyog Bandhu Committee was organized under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob. In connection with the problem of water logging in industrial areas Amausi, Sarojini Nagar, and Banthara, the Divisional Commissioner, NHAI, UPCIDA, Jal Nigam, Municipal Corporation and Public Works Department,  with the Additional District Magistrate, Lucknow huddled to solve the problem by January 10, 2023.

While conducting the survey, instructions were given to provide the report. In relation to the complaint related to the industrial establishments, Lalganj, Salon and Parsdepur, the entrepreneurs of Lalganj, Salon and Parsdepur in district Rae Bareli reportedly are taking maintenance charges higher than the level of UPCIDA and not carrying out any kind of maintenance related work in the industrial establishments by UPCIDA, the Divisional Commissioner sent a letter to UPCIDA in her complaint.

In coordination with the management, the problem was directed to be resolved soon. Along with this, it was also directed to make amends on works to  be done at their level in the above industrial areas by January 05, 2023.

In the meeting, during the review of employment-oriented schemes run by the Industries Department, such as Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program, Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme and One District, One Product, Financial Assistance Scheme, all the leading district Managers and Deputy Commissioners under the board, especially in district Unnao, as necessary. were asked to conduct meetings under the chairmanship of the Chief Development Officer/District Magistrate, directed for 100 percent fulfillment of the allotted targets within the stipulated time.

Under the MSME Policy-2017, in the presence of the concerned officers, giving information about capital interest subvention, electricity duty exemption, state GST reimbursement, establishment interest subvention, etc., in the presence of the concerned officers, the eligible units were approved by the committee constituted for the purpose.
