DRM XI wins by four wickets in friendly match

Lucknow: DRM XI under the captaincy of DRM North Eastern Railway Aditya Kumar defeated Media XI by four wickets in a friendly match played at NER Stadium on Sunday. Amber Pratap Singh played a brilliant inning of 46 runs in the team’s victory. Media XI won the toss and decided to bat first, scored 122 runs in 20 overs. Deepak Gupta scored maximum 44 runs from the team. Apart from this, SM Arshad contributed 25 and Sharaddeep contributed seven runs.

Balram and Balendru Pal got two wickets each from DRM XI while Anoop Kumar and Sunil got one wicket each. In response, DRM XI chased down the target and won the match by scoring 123 runs in 18.4 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.

In addition to Amber Pratap Singh’s 46 runs, Shishir Somvanshi scored 14, Anoop Singh 16, Captain Aditya Kumar seven and Sumit Vats scored eight runs in the victory. Deepak Gupta got two wickets from Media XI while Shalabh, Gaurav and Ankur got one wicket each. In the end, Aditya Kumar, DRM, North Eastern Railway distributed the prizes.
