EARLY RISERS CAN NOW EXERCISE AT RAJ BHAWAN

Lucknow: The majesty of the sprawling Raj Bhawan lawns have appealed to all and sundry. What if you got a chance to walk here in the morning hours? If you’ve been desiring so, your wish just got granted. Now you can carry out your daily fitness routines at Raj Bhawan lawns. The lawns are now open for fitness enthusiasts and morning walkers for 2 hours everyday.

This was announced by the Uttar Pradesh Governor, Anandiben Patel. For all the early risers you could go to Raj Bhawan lawns between 5 am to 7 am. The gates have been opened specifically for all morning walkers and yoga lovers.

“Governors have invited all to come, walk, do yoga in the fresh air and benefit,” the governor said on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Reportedly the governor wanted to open the Raj Bhavan lawns as soon as she took over in 2019.

An ancient building, it is over 200 years old. Initially called Kothi Hayat Baksh and Major General Claude Martin created the layout of this building.
