Effective use of LinkedIn discussed at local event
Lucknow: Department of Social Work, University of Lucknow in collaboration with Anvarat Foundation and LinkedIn Social Impact conducted a workshop on the effective use of LinkedIn . The workshop was designed to educate students, professionals and entrepreneurs on how to effectively use LinkedIn to achieve their career goals and create social impact.
The key speaker for the event was Gaurav Srivastava, a software engineer from LinkedIn San Francisco. Srivastava discussed the importance of LinkedIn and how to rock your profile, covering topics such as crafting a strong profile, networking strategies and job search tips. His insights and advice were well received by the attendees.
Manas Mohan, Head Strategy at Anvarat Foundation, spoke about the practical applications of LinkedIn in the development sector. He shared examples of how LinkedIn has been used by Anvarat Foundation to raise awareness, build partnerships and connect with potential donors.
The workshop was conducted in the august presence of Prof. Arvind Awasthi, Dean – Faculty of Arts and acting VC of University of Lucknow and Prof. Anoop Kumar Bhartiya, Head of Department, Department of Social Work, University of Lucknow. The session was followed by an engaging Q&A session where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify their doubts.
