Lucknow: Rs 1200-1200 was transferred by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to the account of children studying in primary and basic schools of Uttar Pradesh for their school uniform and essential items. At the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, during this time, he administered the oath to the teachers to perform their duty better. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that teachers should take care of the school like a temple or any holy place.
He said every teacher will have to worry that every child of the village and region should come to school. While sending an amount of 1200-1200 rupees to the account of parents of one crore 91 lakh children studying in Basic Education Council and aided schools in Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, the Chief Minister said that the era has gone when children used to come barefoot in primary schools. Now the government is providing uniforms, sweaters, school bags, copy pencils and free text books along with shoe stockings.
The Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the teachers to keep in touch with the parents and motivate them to send their children to school. Uniform, school bag, sweater, shoe-stocking and copy pencil money has been sent to the parents of the students studying in class one to eight in government primary schools of the state.
