Efforts on to stem the spread of malaria

Bareilly: Under chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Sanyukta Samaddar, the divisional meeting related to the health department was held, The Divisional Commissioner directed all the Chief Medical Officers of the division to expedite the works of fogging and spray in the gram panchayats to prevent the outbreak of malaria in their respective districts.
He directed that first of all fogging should be done in the areas where malaria outbreak is high, taking the cooperation of District Panchayat Raj Officer and Block Development Officer. Expressing displeasure over the lack of progress of all the districts in making golden cards under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, he directed the DCM to increase the progress of their respective districts and also monitor them daily.
Golden cards should also be made. He directed that adequate medicines should be available as per the standard at health and wellness centers and CHO should sit daily at the center and directed to bring progress in the construction work of sub centres. He also directed to set up health ATM machines at district hospitals, community health centers and sub-health centers at the earliest. He directed all the Chief Medical Officers to bring the progress of booster dose and vaccination of Covid-19.
He directed all the Chief Medical Officers that all medicines should be available at District Hospitals, Community Health Centers, Primary Health Centers and doctors should also sit and make health services available to the public.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the Chief Medical Officers of the Division to express displeasure over the low progress of institutional deliveries under Janani Suraksha Yojana and directed that the progress of institutional deliveries should be increased. The Additional Director Health apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the progress of health services by the districts of the Division.
The Divisional Commissioner said that there will be a review of the complete health sector every 15 days. He directed all CMOs, ADMOs and Deputy CMOs to do weekly monitoring of health Ayushman card, institutional delivery, vaccination, vector disease control. She said that 300 bed super specialty hospital will jointly finalize the list by RNN and CMO in this week, then I write for posting of doctors and CMS.
Additional Commissioner Administration Arun Kumar, Additional Director Health Deepak Johri, Chief Medical Officer, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Budaun and other concerned divisional officers were present in the meeting.
