Lucknow: Three government and one private hospital in Lucknow have been selected for vaccination, even those above 45 years with serious illness will be able to get vaccinated. The second phase of vaccination started in Uttar Pradesh in the war against Coronavirus. Those who will be 60 years of age on 1 January 2022 can also get vaccinated this time.
Vaccination will last until 3 in the afternoon. Registrations started from 9 am on the Arogya Setu app along with the Co-Win 2.0 portal. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the Phase III vaccination at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civil Hospital in the capital Lucknow. He was accompanied by Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh. Lucknow CMO Dr. Sanjay Bhatnagar informing that three government King George Medical University, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civil Hospital and a private hospital (Shekhar Hospital) have been selected for vaccination.
In Shekhar Hospital, common people can get vaccinated for the first time by paying a fee of Rs 250. Vaccination is being done free of cost in three government institutions. 900 vaccines will be administered in the capital on the first day.
22,500 people will be vaccinated in the state
On the first day, 100-100 people were being vaccinated at three vaccination centers in 75 districts of the state.
Registrations are on through the Cowin portal. If the beneficiary can get the vaccine in a private hospital after registering himself on the portal link provided by the government, for this, 150 rupees will have to be deposited online in the State Bank account. The remaining 100 rupees will have to be deposited in the hospital. After registration, the beneficiary will be informed by message that on which day and at what time the vaccine is to be administered. The vaccination is already going on in government hospitals. But in private hospitals, only the vaccine will be sent by the government. The entire hospital will be responsible for the vaccination.
