Election of new executive of the Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Union completed
Lucknow: The election of the new executive of the Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Union was held on the last day of the convention in the local Madhav Auditorium, Nirala Nagar, in the presence of the employees of the Transport Corporation from all over the state.
In the elected executive, Rakesh Kumar Singh President, Chhatar Singh Working President, Arun Tiwari Sanjay, Ashok Bhadauria, Rahul Bajpai, Akhilanand Tripathi Vice President, Satyanarayan Yadav General Secretary, Ramesh Verma, Kumari Jyoti Mishra, Navneet Verma, Maqbool Mian, Jai Prakash Shukla State Minister, Rajiv Tyagi Organization Minister, Pravesh Kumar Singh Organization Minister, Radheshyam Verma Office Minister, Dinesh Srivastava Treasurer, Rajnish Mishra Media Incharge, Mamta Tiwari, Bhavna Yadav, Neeraj Singh, Vinod Kumar Sharma, Asaram Kushwaha, Manoj Verma, Kaushal, Roli Katiyar, Praveen Choudhary was declared a member.
The new executive committee of the union was formed under the supervision of National President Ramakant Sachan, General Manager Transport Corporation Ajit Singh, National Co-in-Charge Kailash Malik, Anil Upadhyay, BK Bachhani, Additional Labor Commissioner SP Shukla, organized by Union Minister Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Ram Niwas as election officer.
Thanking the corporation employees from all over the state for being elected as the president, Rakesh Kumar Singh said that the Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Union is a strong organization of the state. Through which work is done for the interests of regular and contract workers. He said that it will be the effort of our newly elected organization that we will increase the PF of contractual workers, increase in minimum pay scale, in lieu of seventy percent overaged buses, twenty thousand new buses in 5 years in which six hundred Janrath buses will be procured, to crack down on Daggamar buses.
On such subjects as pressure can be created at the government level. Along with this, the corporation workers should be aware on issues like cleanliness, environment. Questioning the attitude of some officers of the department, while advising the corporation to be transparent on working hours and salaries, he said that the employees of the Transport Corporation are the backbone of the development of the state. He also appealed to the corporation employees to buy uniforms from Khadi Ashram in the form of Swadeshi Jagran, while thanking the departmental minister for eighteen hundred rupees given as uniform allowance.
