Employees down with COVID – 19 to get 28 days paid leave in U.P.

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh fights a bitter tug of war with Coronavirus. There are thousands of cases that are coming up every day, many people are losing their lives. Meanwhile the UP government is constantly fighting the COVID battle on many fronts simultaneously.

On one hand there is the challenge of delivering oxygen to the patients, on the other hand, there is strict execution of the mask and social distancing regimen.

Amidst the Panchayat elections, night curfew and weekend lockdown, the government has given big relief to the employed people.

The government has ordered all private-government companies to give 28 days of paid leave to the employees suffering from Corona.

In its notification, the government has said that wherever more than 10 people work in a shop or company, they will have to display the methods of prevention of COVID at the main gate. All suffering from Corona will have to give 28 days of paid leave. Whatever shops or factories are closed by the government order, their employees will have to pay leave and pay-allowances as well.

The government has also increased restrictions in the state. The government has made the eighth amendment to the Corona Epidemic Act 2020.
