Engineer’s Day celebrated by SMS

Lucknow: School of Management Sciences Lucknow celebrated 55th Engineer’s Day on 15th September 2022 with solemnity and reverence, to commemorate the 162th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a scholar, statesman, educationist and perhaps the most celebrated civil engineer of India.

The event was marked by the garlanding of his portrait and speeches by dignitaries. Shri Sharad Singh, CEO, SMS, express good wishes to all the Engineering faculty & staff on this day. Professor (Dr.) Manoj Mehrotra, Director, SMS expresses his good wishes to all the Engineering fraternity and students. He also mentioned that learning should continue to make the country growing. Professor (Dr.) Bharat Raj Singh, Director General (Technical), School of Management Sciences, Lucknow addressed the gathering about the pioneering works carried out by the luminary Bharat Ratna, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and also inspired the fraternity of engineers to follow the footsteps of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and make meaningful contribution to the nation.

Mr. Umesh Chandra expressed his view to take lesson from such luminaries and take the Indian progress forward. Professor (Dr.) Dharmendra Singh, Associate Director casted vote of thanks with high lighting about the role of engineers in nation building. Other engineers were also witness the programme like: Dr. Hemant Kumar Singh, Dean-Engineering, Dr. PK Singh, Dean-Student welfare, Prof. Amod Pandey, Principal-Diploma Engg, Dr Amarjeet Singh, HOD-EE and Mr. Pankaj Kumar Yadav, HOD-ME, Dr. Asha Kulshresth, HOD-CE and many faculty members. The event was organised by Dr. Ajay Singh, Yadav, Assistant Professor-III, SMS, Lucknow.
