Failure did not stop these youngsters from setting up their own venture

New Delhi: Do you know about Chai Sutta Bar? The Indore-based business, which has more than 400 locations throughout 190 Indian towns, is very popular with young people. Few people are aware of the motivational tale of the brand’s proprietors, Anubhav Dubey and Anand Nayak, despite the fact that it is one of the most well-known cafe chains and has an annual revenue of around Rs 150 crore.
Childhood friends who never let anything stand in the way of their desire to start their own company. Anubhav demonstrated how, if one has the entrepreneurial drive, a little concept like selling tea can grow into a complete network of locations despite having failed the Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Common Admission Test (CAT).
Anand and Anubhav were pals throughout their youth. The two had always wanted to establish their own business and had even launched one while they were still teenagers. With their pocket money, they would purchase used mobile phones, which they would then rent to their buddies for a price. After that, they would resell the model and make money.
The two friends’ joint ideal was always at the back of their thoughts, even if the rigors of a profession eventually caused them to wander in various directions.
Anubhav said in an interview with The Better India that he received a call from Anand in 2016 when he was studying for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations.
“Anand began working at a clothing company after college, while I relocated to Delhi to prepare for the UPSC. He contacted me one lovely day in 2016 and recalled our aspirations back when we were in elementary school. I traveled to Indore to see Anand without telling my family, Anubhav informed the site.
In making their company decision, the two came up with the notion of selling tea. Anubav and Anand made the decision to start Chai Sutta Bar after saving Rs 3 lakh. In Indore, they started up in a modest storefront next to a hostel.
The business owners enlisted the aid of their friends to assist them get more consumers. Anubhav Dubey and Anand Nayak tried everything from word-of-mouth advertising to creating fictitious crowds outside the café in an effort to generate greater attention. Their efforts paid off, as Chai Sutta Bar quickly gained popularity.
The brand is now worth several billion dollars and inspires hundreds of aspiring business owners.
