Farmers no longer have to suffer like pre 2017 – CM
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country, farmers have become a part of the government’s agenda and farmers have received the benefits of the government’s schemes honestly.
The Prime Minister has done the work of providing Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, minimum support price of one and a half times of the agricultural cost for the welfare of farmers, as well as providing the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi to all farmers. . An amount of more than Rs 51 thousand crore has been made available in the accounts of 02 crore 60 lakh Annadata farmers of Uttar Pradesh through Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi in the last three and a half years.
The Chief Minister was addressing the program organized on the occasion after flagging off 77 tractors for farm machinery banks set up in cooperative sugarcane and sugar mill societies of the state at his official residence. He said that there is no caste, creed or religion of the farmer.
Annadata farmers want timely seeds, fertilizers, water, technology and fair price for their produce. Before the year 2017, the farmers of the state did not get the facility of water and electricity.
