New Delhi: Apollo Proton Cancer Center (APCC), the first and only proton therapy center in South Asia and the Middle East, and Ion Beam Applications (IBA), Belgium provide proton therapy training and education for diagnosticians in Asia and around the world.
Apollo Hospitals, Asia’s leading and trusted integrative healthcare provider, has acquired IBA’s Proteus®Plus Proton Therapy System and has been successfully treating cancer patients for over three years. Now, with this collaboration, the Apollo Proton Cancer Center will provide diagnosticians with knowledge on proton therapy through its advanced training and education program.
Announcing the partnership, Dr. Pratap C Reddy, Founder and Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. said, “The urgency of high quality cancer care and the increasing prevalence of cancer cases in India was the reason why Apollo Cancer Centers (ACC) was established almost three decades ago. ) was the reason for its origin.
